On 18 July, we completed an 8-month series of meetings with public sector professionals on how to engage citizens with policy- and decision-making about the roll-out of data and AI systems in the public sector. Led by Arne Hintz with support from our partner organisation Action Learning Associates, the meetings brought together data and engagement officers from local authorities in England and Wales to discuss challenges and opportunities for involving citizens in data-related debates and decisions. We will review and publish some of the results later this year.
